01 / THE STORY

THIS IS
WHY
I STARTED.

I am creating my own hand-drawn art for several reasons. The main one is simple: I work two jobs and I still can't afford a home. I've lived in my car for over a year.

That is not the end of my story. It is the reason I decided to build something of my own instead of waiting for life to change.

While living through my own hardship, I have met amazing people in situations even worse than mine — people with kids, people who work, people who simply can't seem to get a break.

Sometimes good people don't need a lecture.
They need a hand up.

Not everyone who is struggling has a drug problem, a drinking problem or a gambling problem. Sometimes life is just brutal. Sometimes it is bad luck. I know that because I've lived it.

That changed what I want A EYE to become.

The eyes are the identity. I draw them first — weird, colourful, imperfect, beautiful, strange. Then I experiment with AI to turn those drawings into robots, characters and worlds.

AI does not replace where A EYE begins. The original eye artwork starts with me. AI is the tool I use to experiment, transform and see how much further I can take it.

I want the project to grow. I want the community to grow. And if we reach a point where the project can sustainably give back, I want to do exactly that.

I'm still working out what that looks like. I'm playing with ideas, learning, experimenting and figuring out how to make everything better.

You never really know what someone is fighting just by looking at them.

That's one of the reasons I like eyes. They see everything. The good, the bad, the beautiful and the ugly.

Why A EYE?

Because the eyes are the original artwork. Everything else is the transformation — turning hand-drawn ideas into AI-built characters.

Is the art AI-generated?

The project uses AI as part of the transformation process, but the eye concepts begin with my own hand-drawn artwork. The goal is to combine human-made source art with AI experimentation.

Will there be rare pieces?

The collection is being designed around different traits and combinations so there can be common pieces, scarce pieces and genuinely unusual combinations.

Is the community mission guaranteed?

No. I don't want to promise something before it exists. The mission is to build toward real-world impact as the project becomes sustainable.

What happens next?

I keep drawing, keep experimenting, keep improving the art and keep building the community. Good things take time.
